Sunshine on the Water

Day five at the lake and it feels like we are finally settling in.  Also, we got out in the Morehouse boat yesterday for the first time, and Nat went waterskiing today, and both of these things somehow make vacation seem much more official.

Today has been a perfect day, with a glassy lake, brilliant sun, and cool breezes in the shade.  The kids are loving swim lessons (Jack did a kneeling dive off the raft today) and were thrilled to get a boat ride last night and again today.  I am drinking lots of Byrne Dairy ice caps and making an imprint of by bottom in this red Adirondack chair.

Wish you were here....

Dinner at Claire's Tuesday night...

Swim lessons.  Kelly works wonders with the kids at the impossibly cute Harris Park Beach.

Silly kids in the cottage.

Jack and Corydon sharing the shaft of sunlight this morning.

Ivy and Izzy.

Collaborating on sand pit construction...

Diving!

There's been a lot of frisbee playing going on recently.  Lauren's new beau is quite a Frisbee player, and also a magnet for the little kids.  Jack says that he is now a level 11 at Frisbee.  Not sure what that means, but there you are.
