Farley's Fourth!

While we had originally planned to be at home for the 4th this year, we are never going to complain about being here for this holiday.  Festive and wholesome as ever, Farley's point pulled out the patriotic stops (and the terrific weather) for a great celebration.
World's cutest parade.

Hot dogs for all, courtesy of the White family.
Snappers for all from Bob and Stephanie.

What could be more all-American than a group of cousins shooting off sky missiles and firecrackers at the park?
Perhaps a group of "Farley's friends" ranging in age from 5-15, all playing perfectly together...

A beach full of recreation. Sign of a day well spent.

A grand holiday dinner for 30 (not so photogenic, the eating of burgers...) and then, after sunset...
Sparklers!

...and fireworks over the water.

Happy Birthday, America!  Despite our turbulent times, this is a beautiful land we live in, and worth celebrating.
