A musical week...

What a terrific week.  Momentous.  Note-able, in fact.

Sorry.

Ivy was thrilled to present her very first Boulevard concert.   She dressed up "wedding fancy," as Jack put it, and stood up there, all poise and serious enthusiasm.

Here she is, embodying Katy Perry's "Roar"...
 Art show, too!

 And, time to play after...
 Magical spring evenings!

And then, one week later...

The boy's turn.  How is this little one so grown up?  The only 4th grade trombone in the orchestra.  So poised and serious himself...
When he saw us looking and giving him a thumbs up, we got this little, proud nod of acknowledgement...

A little chilly for playground time so we mixed and mingled in the gym, grabbing produce from school market, chatting with neighbors, and loving on our community...

Other highlights of the week:

3 birthday parties for the kids (only one pictured)

.... a baby shower for our friend Sarah....

...and dinner with some old friends (from lamaze class!  With Jack!)  Thank goodness for facebook rec-connections!  Such fun!

Also, we have an eat-in kitchen now!  Did you notice?
Also, chicks!  They are getting so big!  New feathers every day.  We've built them a bigger enclosure.  They are so noisy in there, I think they may be moving furniture.  They try to fly all the time and they are ridiculously cute.

So are our children when they are around them.

Loving our music-filled, pet-filled life this week!
