Happy Easter!

A picture-walk through our Easter Sunday...

Two eager kiddos, up at 7 for the traditional Easter breakfast of jelly beans and chocolate...

A blizzard-free Easter Sunday meant the bunny delivered eggs outdoors this year.   These kids move fast!

Special Day breakfast, plus hard-boiled eggs. We really love hard-boiled eggs.
This photo was taken during the 15 minute period that both children were a) interested in and B) able to use their new MP3 players.  Jack, who deemed this the best Easter present EVER, has since been unable to use his player, which spontaneously stopped working on Monday.  Ivy, after spending a day pretending her player was a phone, has left it in Daddy's office the rest of the week.  But this car ride, with these two singing along to "Mr. Roboto"?  It was pretty cute.

Off to Lakewood for church.  Bittersweet to have a final Easter in this sanctuary, as Trinity is selling its church building this year.  It was a lovely service, lots of singing, so many familiar faces in the little congregation.  This place will always be my church home.

Then, to Gram's house for MORE baskets (thanks for the silly string, Auntie Becca....) and a wonderful ham dinner...

After lunch we took our new kites to Edgewater.  The wind obliged nicely.

A trip to the City Greenhouse (why not make the day last a little longer??) and Silly String tag in the yard capped off a very happy Easter indeed.
