One of our favorite annual traditions- our day at Waldameer with our friends. Some things have changed but Waldameer has not. nor has the love I have for all these people and our traditions and joy together.
It was, as always, a perfect summer day, blue-sky beautiful with a slight breeze, and no lines for the rides. I went on the flying swings and the ferris wheel and my one roller coaster for the day right at the end and it was perfect. The kids wandered off on their own but migrated back, too. We had a picnuc lunch and played cats cradle and yo-yo, then a beach visit and dinner at Sarah's to close the day.
Life is good. It is especially good at Waldameer.
