March

Friends, family, skiing, animals, concerts...

In the midst of change- these were our constants.  Well, these and all the laundry. :)

Celebrating Carter's birthday at Mika's house. Questions and Answers, cocktails, kittens and new friends..

End of the season skiing at Peak N'Peek.  The snow was... practically gone.  But the weather was grand and the kids' brought friends to ski with and there was free beer, so it was a terrific day.

Broadway series with these hooligans.
Baby goats at the barn!!

Seeing Postmodern Jukebox with the friends.

Celebrating St. Patrick's day with my sweeties at school.

Annual trip to Lake Farmpark. The kids get bigger but the magic of this little place stays the same.

Spring break trip: off to the Rockies!  Three days of skiing and some time in Denver.  An exhausting, challenging, exhilirating and beautiful experience.  Jack is completely sold on the mountains and loved skiing in 14 inches of fresh snow. Me on the other hand... I might just have more lodge time if we do this again! But I sure did love watching my skiing family tackling the slopes.  So proud of them.

Back home for one day then Ivy and I drove south to Clarksville for a few days with Becca, and horses, and wine, and egg hunts.   We had a fun time on the drive, too, discussing the common themes of pop music and listening to Remarkably Bright Creatures together.

Other notable highlights of the trip-- Ivy building the new grill by herself (we just had to cook out after our winery visit), and celebrating Easter from afar with our boys in NY, including a synchronized Facetime egg hunt.

While I was living it, March felt a lot like just barely making it through.   But it turns out we didn't just make it through, we made it memorable.  Grateful for friends and family and laughter and travel- and the photos to remember it all!
